On the subject of how they keep making more pokemon, the games creators have expressed a desire for there to be so many pokemon and forms that there is no way for a player to possibly know all their names and types and when we see one more likely than not we won’t recognize it and will have to simply take our best guess. I think there are many more years of pokemon generations ahead of us.
